At our resort, our mission is to create an environment in the tranquility of the Wisconsin outdoors where families and friends can gather and build memories.
We are a family friendly resort, and we ask that all guests treat other campers with common courtesy and respect.

Activities: We offer several recreational amenities onsite for the whole family to enjoy including kayaks, canoes, a sandy beach, swim dock, lake access, fishing, playground, volleyball court and basketball/pickleball sport court. All are free to use during your stay.
Wi-Fi: There is high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the resort campus.
Gas Grills: Gas grills are equipped with propane and grilling utensils for your use. Please do not move the grills.
Life Jackets and Beach Toys: For your convenience, we provide life jackets and beach toys for our guests. They are in the storage room of the fish house. According to U.S. Coast Guard rules, one U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket must be available and accessible for each person aboard any recreational watercraft. (The pontoon boat is equipped with adult life jackets). Children 13 years old and younger must wear a life jacket that fits them while aboard any boat including while using the kayaks, canoes, or paddle boats. Please return and hang up life jackets when you have finished using them.
Bear Necessities Store: Check out the Bear Necessities store for necessities, candy, clothing and souvenirs. We have limited store hours, but we also open by request.
Housekeeping/Maintenance: If you need cabin maintenance, or additional linens or towels, please call the Resort Office at 715-354-3029.
Laundry: Towering Pine and Lone Pine cabins have laundry facilities; the other cabins do not. The nearest public laundromat is located on Main Street in Birchwood.
Lost and Found/Missing Items: The resort is not responsible for any lost or missing items. Lost and found is located in the Resort Office.
Medical: The nearest hospital with a 24-7 Emergency Room is Marshfield Medical Center in Rice Lake.
Quiet Time: Quiet time is between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please respect all guests and neighbors during these hours by keeping noise to a minimum.
Golf Carts (Personal or Leased): All drivers of any golf cart, personal or leased, must be at least 16 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Children are not allowed to drive golf carts, even with adults on the cart. Upon arrival, guests must review and sign the appropriate golf cart agreement.
ATV Restrictions: ATVs are growing in popularity, and we are fortunate to have great trails near our resort. That said, for safety reasons, we cannot allow ATVs to be operated on our grounds. We ask that you keep your ATV trailered while on resort property.
Alcohol: GPR may ask guests for identification to verify age. GPR reserves the right to ask the entire party to leave if (1) a minor is consuming alcohol; (2) an adult is providing alcohol to a minor; or (3) a guest or guests appear intoxicated and refuses to leave the Premises.
Fireworks: No fireworks of any kind are permitted at the resort.
Parental Responsibility: Parents/Guardians are responsible for their children. Be aware of where your children are and what they are doing at all times. Parents/Guardians will be held financially responsible for any damage caused by their children.
Fish Cleaning: Please do not clean fish in your cabin. For your convenience, we provide a fish cleaning house near the lake. Clean up when done and dispose of fish guts in bags and place in the fish house freezer.
Campfires and Firewood: Firewood is provided at no additional cost and is located near the campfire rings at each cabin. Because of the risk of insect infestation, we ask that you do not bring firewood into the resort from outside sources. Use only the firewood we provide. Do not burn plastic, metal, trash or glass. Also, please extinguish your campfire completely before going to bed..
Cancelation: Your deposit secures your reservation, and the balance is due upon check-in. If you must cancel, please do so as soon as possible. If you cancel at least 60 days before check-in, you will receive a 100% refund (minus a $100 processing fee). If you cancel between 60 and 30 days before check-in, you will receive a 50% refund (minus a $100 processing fee). There is no refund if you cancel within 30 days of your check-in date. Extenuating circumstances will be considered. To make any changes to this reservation, please contact us at 715-354-3029 during normal business hours.
Visitors: You are welcome to entertain visitors while you stay with us. Please limit these visits to 2 hours and visitors to five per reservation. For visitors exceeding the 2-hour limit, we charge visitor fees of $50/day per person. Visitor parking passes must be requested in advance of your stay and picked up at the office upon check-in.
Parking Passes: On-site parking is free to our guests. Guest parking passes are issued to all vehicles at check in. Please display the pass on the dash of your vehicle. Boat and boat trailer parking is accommodated in the designated parking lot only.
Accommodation Limitations: Please be courteous by keeping your cabin, motorcoach site and surrounding area tidy and clean. Clotheslines, tarps and tents are not permitted. The resort is seasonal from May through early October with a minimum stay of three nights and maximum stay of two weeks.
