Activities 

We offer several recreational amenities onsite for the whole family to enjoy including kayaks, canoes, a sandy beach, swim dock, lake access, fishing, playground, walking trails and basketball/pickleball sport court all free to use during your stay.

Cable/Internet/Wi-Fi

We offer FREE cable TV, Internet access and Guest Wi-Fi in all cabins and the Wilderness Lodge.

Campfires and Firewood

Firewood is provided at no additional cost and is located near the campfire rings at each cabin. Please extinguish your campfire completely before 

going to bed. 

Gas Grills

Each cabin has a gas grill equipped with propane and grilling utensils for your use. Please do not move grills from your cabin. 

Life Jackets and Beach Toys

For your convenience, we provide life jackets and beach toys for our guests. They are in the storage room of the fish house. The life jackets are regular 

adult-sized, therefore if you are a large adult or have a small child with you, you should plan to provide your own life jackets. According to U.S. Coast Guard rules, one U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket must be available and accessible for each person aboard any recreational water craft. (The pontoon boat is equipped with adult life jackets). Children 13 years old and younger must wear a life jacket that fits them while aboard any boat including while using the kayaks, canoes or paddle boats. Please return and hang up life jackets when you have finished using them.

Fish Cleaning

Also for your convenience, we provide a fish cleaning house near the lake. Clean up when done and dispose of fish guts in bags and place in the fish house freezer. Please do not clean fish in your cabin.

Bear Necessities Store

Check out the Bear Necessities store for necessities, candy, clothing and souvenirs. We have limited store hours, but we also open by request. 

Housekeeping/Maintenance 

If you need cabin maintenance, or additional linens or towels, please call the Resort Office at 715-354-3029. 

Laundry 

Towering Pine and Lone Pine cabins have laundry facilities; the other cabins do not. The nearest public laundromat is located on Main Street in Birchwood. 

POLICIES

Cancelation

Your deposit secures your reservation, and the balance is due upon check-in.  If you must cancel, please do so as soon as possible.  If you cancel at least 60 days before check-in, you will receive a 100% refund (minus a $100 processing fee).  If you cancel between 60 and 30 days before check-in, you will receive a 50% refund (minus a $100 processing fee).  There is no refund if you cancel within 30 days of your check-in date.  Extenuating circumstances will be considered.  To make any changes to this reservation, please contact us at 715-354-3029 during normal business hours.

Check-in Information 

Check-in is from 4 to 5 pm. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for early check-in and therefore respectfully request that you plan to arrive between 4 and 5 pm. If you need to arrive after 7 pm, or would like contactless check-in, please let us know. If you pay in advance, we will leave your key in your cabin for you. 

Check-out Information 

Check-out time is 10:00 am to give us time to prepare the cabins for new arrivals. Please place all used towels in the tub or shower and all garbage and recycling in the cans located outside your cabin. Linens can remain on the beds. Clean out the refrigerator and cupboards of all food and wash and put away all dishes. Finally, please drop off your cabin key at the office in the “post box”.  

No Smoking 

We have a no smoking policy in all cabins. If you choose to smoke outside, please do so at least 5 feet from any cabin entrance or public area and dispose of your cigarette butts appropriately. We charge an additional $250 cleaning fee for smoking in your cabin. 

Parking 

On-site parking is free to our guests.  Guest parking passes are issued to all vehicles at check in. Please display the pass on the dash of your vehicle.  Boat and boat trailer parking is accommodated in the designated parking lot only.

Visitors 

You are welcome to entertain visitors while you stay with us. Please limit these visits to 2 hours and visitors to 5 per cabin. For visitors exceeding the 2-hour limit, we charge visitor fees of $50/day per person. Visitor parking passes must be requested in advance of your stay and picked up upon check-in. 

Pets 

Pets are not allowed in cabins or on the resort property except for service animals. We charge an additional cleaning fee of $250 for having an unauthorized animal in a cabin. 

Quiet Time 

Quiet time is between the hours of 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. Please respect our other guests and neighbors during these hours by keeping noise to a minimum. 

ATV Restrictions

ATVs are growing in popularity, and we are fortunate to have great trails near our resort. That said, for safety reasons, we cannot allow ATVs to be operated on our grounds. We ask that you keep your ATV on its trailer while on  resort property, and your trailer parked at the resort parking lot.

Medical 

If you have a serious medical emergency, dial 911. The nearest hospital with a 24-7 Emergency Room is Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake, 715-234-1515. If you experience a medical issue that is not immediately life threatening, the nearest clinics are located in Rice Lake: Mayo Clinic, 715-236-8500 and Marshfield Clinic, 715-236-8100. 

Lost and Found/Missing Items 

The resort is not responsible for any lost or missing items. Please lock your cabin when away from it or leaving resort property. Lost and found is located in the Resort Office.
